PROGRAMME

Arranged by Fiona Dinning-Cole, Ali Spalding and Brenda Louw.
The ticket price includes yoga sessions all day with the choice of two or three options during each time slot. You will need to bring your mat and any other equipment you regularly use, your own lunch and a mug for hot drinks (which we will provide). All yogis of any persuasion are invited. It’s a great opportunity to meet like-minded Yogary Folk, experience new teachers, get some ideas, share chats and just have a really lovely day of Yoga Yoga and more Yoga!

THE AREA Long Melford and the surrounding villages, especially Lavenham, are beautiful medieval towns, with quirky Tudor buildings dating back to the 1400’s. The water meadows are close by and lovely to walk in. There are lots of accommodation options from pubs and B&B’s in the area – so make a weekend of it! Beautiful Kentwell Hall is well worth a visit on the Sunday. Let us know if you are coming on Friday night and we can meet up for a get together in the evening. There are 4 rooms which we will be using, 3 teaching rooms and a central room where we can have our teas and lunches and general chatting. If the weather is nice there’s a lovely patch of garden in the front.

PROGRAMME:

7.30am to 9.15am –(Optional) Self Practice in the Studio…. Or come for a cuppa Whether you want to practice Asana, Meditation, Relaxation or something in-between, the Studio will be open from 7.30am. Come in (quietly) any time from 7.30am to when you like. We will come in to the studio at 9am to let you know the session finishes in 15mins, so you don’t need to watch the time. If you don’t fancy practice, just come along for a cuppa and chat.

Anatomy with Brenda  Anatomy… but not the boring stuff from books! Brenda (with her sidekick George the Skeleton) will share some interesting anatomical information that you can incorporate into your teaching, yogasana practice and life in general. Quite a fun, interesting and practical workshop, so bring a notebook and pen if you want to take some notes. Brenda has a hands-on and down to earth approach to teaching. She has been practicing yoga since 2000, and teaching since 2007. She is a Yoga Elder with the IYN, and director of ChillOut Yoga Teacher Training. Fusion Beat with Brenda A fun, music-based, kind-of free-flow class where you are encouraged to ‘do your own thing’ within the theme. Incorporating asana practice from the different traditions of Scaravelli, Kundalini, Vinyasa Flow and Yin. Starting off slow, then working through meditative sun salutes, a vibrant Mul and slowing down with some lengthening Yin, ending with a lovely relaxation to singing bowls.
